Confessions...

The story begins here.....

There was a girl named Amy and she is 8 years old. She was a girl who likes simple things. She had a very good life and nice parents too. One day, while playing outside in a fine sunny day, there, she met a boy. His name was James and his an 8 year old too. He was a typical boy who likes to tease you that will make you mad and then chase and beat him.

The boy always tease the girl so of course she gets mad and she always chase after him. Well, their argument lasted just in a short time. After that they became friends and classmates, they often meet at the fence whenever there are no classes, and they were always together like brothers and sisters it may seem. Amy found out that James was easy to talk with so she told all of her secrets to him and her dreams and he really listened quietly and always gave special attention to her.

So they went to high school together. They became really good friends, and she realized that she was starting to fall in love with him.

On the graduation night, even though they have different dates to the prom Amy wanted to be with him. That night everybody was so happy seeing themselves beautiful and handsome. Amy went to James' house and she wanted to tell what she really feels about him. That night was a big chance for her but all she did was to sit there with him while watching the stars and talking about their dreams. She looked into his eyes while he was saying his dream. He said he wanted to be rich and successful and how he wanted to get married and settle down. All that she did was to tell her dreams too and cuddle next to him. She went home very happy and very sad as well because she did not tell him how she really felt about him. How she really wanted to confess to him that night. So she let the days pass...

And so they went to college together and still wanted to confess to him but James was always with somebody else. After their graduation they had a new life. She was really happy for him and sad at the same time because she still did not told him her true feelings towards him. So James was leaving for his big job, she was watching him and her tears started to fall into her eyes.

Amy went home broken hearted. Two years had passed, Amy received an invitation,and it was a marriage invitation from James. Her heart broke into pieces for James will be getting married to someone else. Now she realized that she could never be with him and they could only be friends.Then after two months, she attended the wedding. It was a big occasion. There, she met the bride and of course James. She fell in love one more time. But she held it back so she would not spoil the happiest day of James life. She tried to have fun that night but her sadness was killing her inside watching him being happy with his wife.

After the wedding, everybody went home very happy but for Amy it was the saddest day of her life. And she thought that maybe she should try to forget him, she tried and tried to forget but she just cannot do it at all. After a week, she a got a note from James to meet him at the airport. And so while walking towards to the airport James came out of nowhere, hugged her so tight while saying his goodbyes because he needs to live a new life and how he was happy to meet her again. Amy smiled at him while tears coming down from her cheeks. But they promised to themselves to write letters to each other and so it went on for a year talking about the things that was happening to them and how they missed each other so bad. But after a couple of months she never got a letter from him and she got so worried. She was so hopeless to get news from James until she got a note one day that says: " Meet me at the fence where we first met". By then she was very determined to see him so there she went to the place where James and her first met. There, she saw James and they hugged each other so tight that they could not breathe anymore, and so again they talked, telling same old stories to each other. Then James told that he and his wife got divorced. Amy was very surprised to hear that and while listening to him she said to herself: " I'm falling in love again". When James said he was going to leave again, Amy cried but could not do anything and again,was not able to him how she really felt about him. Amy went to see him off and cried and just said:" I hate to see him leave again". After that James promised that he will visit Amy every vacation. She could not wait for him to come again. Every month James was seeing Amy, he always sees to it to spend his vacation with Amy only. They were both happy but still no confessions had been made...

So then one day, James did not show up. Amy received a call from a lawyer. He told that James died in a car accident while heading towards to the airport and she was needed for his last will. Her tears started to fall as she ran and went to James house. There she met James ex- wife again and the lawyer. Of course every thing was given to his family and ex-wife. James ex-wife told her that he was always talking about her since the day they got married, that James divorced her because he was not really in love with her. Then James ex-wife gave something to Amy, it was a diary, and it belongs to James. While Amy was on the plane heading towards home she started reading the diary and her tears starting to flow. The story in the diary begins when they first met, that James fell in love with her already, the very first time he saw her at the fence. And as she goes on turning the pages, more tears were falling down her face and her sadness deepens more and more and on the last page she found herself crying because of hurting too much for it says: " Today I will definitely confess to her, will tell her that I fell in love with you since the first day I saw you". And that was the day when he..... Died..... That's the day Amy was going find out what really James feel about her.....

Nutrition Month

" Thank you Lord for giving us a chance to celebrate this special occasion the Nutrition Month. May you guide us every year for our own sake"

Nutrition Month is about the health of the people. It is celebrated because it wants us to know how health is very important to us and we will know what kind of food to eat. For example, Carrots it helps our vision or eyesight to be very clear and not a blur one. Well, there are so many fruits and vegetables that can help our health to be good. Now we're moving on, the meaning of our saying the "Batang may Kinabukasan , sa Wastong Nutrisyon Simulan" is if you want to have a better future like if you want to have a better job start in eating foods but not just food but a healthy one.

Now , every class in our school made a dish like Fruit salad in Grade 6 and of course we had a poster making about the theme of the Nutrition month last July 9, 2010 and held at the elementary library. Contestants are very excited and some of them are bit nervous. When all the participants are in the library they all stand up and pray led by Mrs. Teresita Fusilero the EPP coordinator followed by the reading of mechanics also read by Mrs. Fusilero then she also gave her short, simple, and understandable , inspirational message to the contestants before the poster making starts. The contestants immediately grabbed their pencils and started to draw, some of them draw boys or girls and of course they drew fruits and vegetables and they put beautiful designs to make their posters wonderful and more creative. Until they submitted it and went back to their respective classrooms. Results are announced when we are having our flag ceremony, we would like to congratulate these sections for winning the said poster making contest:

1st Place - 6 St. Peter

2nd Place - 5 St. Boniface

3rd Place - 6 St. John

But like Mrs. Fusilero said all the contestants are still winners because they are chosen to be the participants of the contest , so for those who did not won don't be sad, be happy!

So we should thank God that we're so lucky that we are blessed that we are healthy but we shall pray for the poor and the unhealthy people everyday.

So start now and eat the right kinds of food because Better health , Better life!

Taong 2002 nang lumuwas si Nhel at namasukang driver sa isang mayamang pamilya sa Maynila. May anak ang amo niyang babae na nagngangalang Johar. Naging malapit si Johar kay Nhel dahil ito ang naghahatid-sundo sa kanya sa eskwelahan. Lingid sa kaalaman ni Johar umiibig na pala sa kanya si Nhel nuon pa.

Mahal na mahal ni Nhel si Johar,mas humigit pa ito nang malaman niyang mahal din siya ng amo niyang si Johar. Malaki man ang agwat ng estado ng buhay nila,itinuloy pa rin nila ang kanilang relasyon at inilihim sa magulang ni Johar. Sa di inaasahan,nagkaroon ng hindi pagkakaintindihan si Johar at ang kanyang magulang. Si Nhel ang una niyang tinakbuhan dahil alam niyang makakatulong ito sa kanya. Dahilan sa sobrang pagkagulo,nagdesyon si Johar na magtanan nalang sila ni Nhel at pinaburan naman ito. Dinala ni Nhel si Johar sa Davao kung saan dun siya nakatira. Duon sila nanirahan. Kalaunan nalaman ito ng mga magulang ni Johar na nagtanan ang dalawa dahil sa pagsusuplong ng isang katulong. Pinuntahan nila ang tirahan ni Nhel sa Davao para kunin si Johar. Pagdating sa bahay ni Nhel nagulat siya na ang amo niya ay nanduon at may mga kasamang pulis. Pinosasan siya at dinala sa prisinto. Nakulong si Nhel sa salang kidnaping na hindi naman niya ginawa kay Johar. Pinaratangan siya na dinukot niya nang sapilitan si Johar.

Ang mga magulang ni Johar ay nagngitngit sa galit dahil sa ginawa ng anak. Halos bumaba ang tingin nila kay Johar dahil sa pagpatol sa isang driver lamang. Ngunit ipinagtanggol ni Johar si Nhel dahil mahal niya ito. Nagdesiyon ang mga magulang ni Johar na dalhin ito sa Amerika para dun nalang manirahan. Bago ang pag-alis ni Johar tumungo siya sa prisinto upang bisititahin si Nhel at para narin magpaalam. Tila yun na ang katapusan ng lahat para kay Nhel dahil iiwan siya ng kanyang kasintahan. Ngunit hindi, dahil nangako si Johar na hihintayin niya si Nhel hanggang sa ito ay makalaya.

Binuo ni Nhel ang sampung taon niyang sintensiya. Bagaman nalalapit na ang paglaya niya malungkot parin siya dahil wala na siyang nabalitaan tungkol kay Johar. Hindi na ito sumusulat sa kanya.

Sa paglaya ni Nhel ,tumungo siya sa bahay nina Johar. Nagbabakasakaling madatnan niya duon ang kasintahan na matagal na niyang hindi nakasama ngunit wala ito nuon. Pabalik-balik si Nhel na tila hindi nagsasawang maghintay sa kasintahan.

Dumating ang kaarawan ni Nhel, matapos ang kanyang trabaho tumungo siya sa bahay ni Johar upang makibalita. Pinangako kasi ni Johar sa kanya na uuwi ito sa kaarawan niya matapos lumaya. Malayo palang, natanaw na niyang maraming tao sa bahay ni Johar. May mga kotseng nakaparada at mga upuang nakapwesto sa labas ng bahay. Minadali niya ang paglalakad sa pag-aakalang baka ito ay supresa lang na inihanda sa kanya ni Johar. Ngunit sa labas ng bahay bumungad sa kanya ang tarpaulin na may mukha ni Johar at detalye kung kailan ito namatay. Hindi makagalaw si Nhel ngunit makikita na nangingilid ang luha sa kanyang mga mata. Hindi niya maisip na nasa harapan na niya ang pinakamamahal niya. Ang taong sampung taon niyang hinintay na makasama. Ang kasintahan niyang nakahiga na sa selyadong kabaong. Laking hinayang ni Nhel dahil kung kailan may maipagmamalaki na siya sa mga magulang ni Johar saka pa ito namatay. Namatay ang kasintahan niya dahil sa pangungulila sa kanya.

Sa araw ng libing ni Johar dumagsa ang mga kaibigan at mahal sa buhay. Sa di kalayuan, nakamasid si Nhel at umiiyak. Taimtim na nagluluksa sa pagkawala ng kanyang kasintahan. Nang umalis na ang mga nakipaglibing, lumapit na si Nhel sa puntod nito. Duon na niya binuhos ang mga luha na matagal na niyang pinigilan dahil sa pangungulila kay Johar. Ang mga taong nasayang ay hindi na maibabalik pa. Ang mga pangakong binuo nila ay wala nangg saysay pa.

Habang umiiyak si Nhel ay may humawak sa kanyang balikat. Nang nilingon niya, ito pala ay mga magulang ni Johar. Humingi sila ng tawad kay Nhel dahil sa mga nangyari noong nakaraan. Bagaman alam ni Nhel na malaki ang kasalanan ng mga ito sa kanya, nanaig parin ang pagpapatawad sa kanya. Napansin ni Nhel ang batang lalaki na nagtatago sa likod ng ina ni Johar, nang biglang ipinakilala sa kanya na ang sampung taong batang lalaki na iyon ay anak nila ni Johar. Ang batang pinangalanan ni Johar bilang Johnel.

Niyakap agad ito ni Nhel. Pakiramdam niya ay muli niyang nakapiling si Johar sa katauhan ng kanyang anak. Nawala man si Johar na kanyang pinakamamahal, nag-iwan naman ito ng kayamanan na bunga ng kanilang tapat na pagmamahalan.

Last March 25, 2010, the Grade School Department held its Recognition Day to give due honor to outstanding pupils who demonstrated exemplary performance throughout the academic year 2009-2010.

The said occasion started with the Academic Procession of the outstanding pupils, joined by their parents, the faculty, the coordinators and the school administrators. It was followed by a Thanksgiving Mass co-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Blaise Jose Maria Garcia Jr., MMHC and Rev. Fr. Leo Ricardo Ma. Luanzon, MMHC. In the Homily, Fr. Luanzon pointed out Mama Mary’s virtue of Humility that we should follow and several things to remember and exhibit in following her. These things are courage, faith in God, compassion and commitment which Mama Mary showed as she lived her life. He also pointed out the difference between winners and losers, “A winner says ‘Let us find out’ while a loser says ‘Nobody knows’. A winner says ‘I was wrong’ while a loser says ‘It was not my fault’” He said that the pupils are winners because they could not be recognized if they are losers.

After the Eucharistic Celebration, the Recognition Rites followed starting with the Entrance of Colors and followed by the singing of the National Anthem. After that, the awarding of medals and certificates proceeded. Rev. Msgr. Arnel F. Lagarejos, with the assistance of Mrs. Marilou Valencia, OIC Vice President for Academics and Mrs. Lerma S. Fernandez, Grade School Principal, awarded the medals and certificates to the outstanding pupils.

Our beloved College President, Rev. Msgr. Arnel F. Lagarejos, delivered his inspirational talk. In his speech, he pointed out the great importance of knowledge and how CCC imparts it, together with Christian values to form successful and good people who will be beneficial members of the society. “We are trying our best to instill them the Gospel of Truth, Justice and Love.” As he ended his motivating talk, Msgr. Arnel thanked the parents for entrusting their children to CCC.

Before the recessional, the CCC family sang the CCC Hymn with pride and honor.

Ministry of Ushers Recruits New Members

Last March 20, 2010 in the Parish Formation Center, the family of Ministry of Ushers got bigger when new members were recruited.

Msgr. Arnel Lagarejos, the Parish Priest, gave a seminar to the new recruited members of the ministry. He discussed how the ushers did their jobs in the Old and New Testament. He said that ushers were called to provide service to the community when they gather together inside the House of God. According to him, “Usher is not a policeman charged with repressing authority”. Ushers didn’t have to be terrifying just to make the parishioners follow. He had to respect other people so they could respect him. He also discussed about the duties and responsibilities of the ushers before, while and after the mass. There were open forums and question and answer to clarify the duties of an usher.
